Nice to see someone from the wonderful world of professional football have a few intelligent opinions on the issues of our age

Just cause you like women and they reciprocate, don't mean you have to be a fucking caveman

Sure everyone has the right to an opinion but not the right to take the moral high ground unless you ocupy it. He most certainly does not.
Made a fortune from football fans / Sun readers and advertising shit crisps owned by a multi conglomrate Pepsi.

Hope he gets fired by Walkers the hypocritical cunt.

Hatred comes in different forms.

The sneering hatred of 'the masses' evident among the wealthy liberal elite is worse than anything you'll see in the Sun or the Mail.

Re: Gary Lineker again!
If it is Gary Lineker's opinion that some newspapers are being 'hideously racist' and feels he wants to support the campaign to urge companies not to advertise with them that is up to him.
And it's up to those companies to decide whether they agree and do what they want with their advertising budget.

Never been a fan of Lineker and don't really have an opinion one way or the other about the campaign but don't have a problem with what he is doing.
In fact if Walkers turn around and say they aren't going to relent he may end up losing his cosy lucrative contract with them.
So he is potentially putting his money where his mouth is rather than some who are probably whining with no SKIN in the game.

Whether a sporting icon should be using his fame to sell CRISPS to the nation is another thing of course.

Facebook is Communism for the 21st Century. ..People are told what to think and say. There is no other viewpoint. and anyone who disagrees is shot down.
It makes me laugh when Gary Lineker fronts a stop funding hate campaign when the papers he's attacking didn't publish any of the stories about his alleged affairs when he was married and a top sports celebrity.
The gloves are off if he takes on the Daily Mail and the Sun. Skeletons in the cupboard on the front page. Tosser.

Mum and dad are Turkish so Turkish is my first language, remember we are talking 1st generation arrivals in England back in the 50's.

Funny because when you first started posting as HairyHammer you'd make a play on English not being your first language and so on.

Did you forget you'd done that?

As for boycotting that is up to the company I would think a company that is successful with a right wing paper would tell Lineker to go and fuck himself.

It all depends on your own political view I guess, I find The Mail Telegraph and Sun nasty and have felt that way since I was a 15 year old boy.

There is a way to say something and those papers have a shitty way of saying them, but that is me.

"of course the media has Influence "

Yes Hairy, so should we boycott the Daily Mirror too? The New Statesman? The Guardian? The Economist?

Seems strange to me that all the "nasty, hate filled" newspapers we are supposed to boycott just happen to be right leaning papers who wanted to vote for Brexit.

Funny that, isnt't it?

The mail online is the most viewed news website in the world with over 200m unique viewers each month.

I'm not sure if it's for the weekly Diana updates or cat related scare stories but that's an awful lot.

Only a small fraction of lineker's 5m followers would see each tweet.

And 2m copies will obviously be read by a lot more than 2m.

Not that that makes Hairy's point any less wrong.
